I created Oakmeade.com in mid-1998 for the enjoyment of myself, my friends and my family.

It wasn't until 2000 thatI considered it might be used for making money as well! And it wasn't
until 2002 that I actually got my rear in gear and learned how to be part of the many 'affliliate'
opportunities out on the Net. Below are links to a select number of sites with whom I am partnered.
I say 'select' because, for my own integrity, I've created a set of rules for deciding whom to promote:

ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING IS TRUE IN EVERY CASE:
I have visited and/or purchased from the business in person. (in its store)
I have visited and/or purchased from the business online
Someone I trust has visited and/or purchased from the business in person or online

In the case of survey sites, I only recommend those that I myself belong to.

I take my affiliate status seriously, and I promise I will never recommend a merchant simply
because they offer the best commission. I will only recommend those who meet my standards
as described above. The merchants on this page do. That being said, please -- shop to
