It's said there's nothing new under the sun, and having a list of favourite links is surely not
an unoriginal thought! However, I'm pretty sure no two peoples' lists are the same, and
I'm positive you'll find at least a few links here that lead to sites you've never seen before.
Maybe you'll even learn something new; happens to me every day! (click the logos to visit the sites)

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:

The Family Giving Tree, in existence over a decade, provides gifts, toys, clothing & other times at Christmastime for
children, families and homeless folks in need. The FGT provides this generosity to people served through many dozens
of social service agencies throughout the Bay Area. It's a great cause to volunteer for, and I speak from experience! The
FGT founder is a good friend of mine, and I have volunteered for 4 years now. There are many enjoyable and rewarding
ways to volunteer your time with us! Visit the site and all will be explained. I think you'll be glad you did. :)

The first environmental organization I ever joined was The Nature Conservancy. They do and offer so much that I
won't even begin to think I can describe it here. Visit their site for more information. If you're considering joining
an environmental cause, I truly recommend TNC.

I also belong to World Wildlife Fund... Sierra Club... Greenbelt Alliance...

AmFAR... MSKCC... DAV... and Humane Society of the U.S.

RANDOM OTHER FUNNY & FUN STUFF, NOT NECESSARILY IN ANY ORDER:

Everything you ever wanted to know about Kleenex but were afraid to ask is available here! Discover things you probably never knew
were made by the friendly folks at Kimberly-Clark, the parent company of the famous facial tissue.

Do you ever sneeze in bright sunlight or when looking at a light? This condition, called photic sneezing, affects about 1 in 3 people, including me! Find out some interesting things about photic sneezing behind Door One, Door Two or Door Three!

Everyone knows about my favourite auction site by now, so I see no need to explain what eBay is!

Some people (myself included) have forsaken our automobile-induced anonymity by obtaining personalized license plates
(also called "vanity plates"). If you're considering getting some, visit this site to search the DMV records for what's still available.

Barbarian's Online Tests Page is one of the best collections I've found! They have tons of questionnaires, surveys and tests that tell
you thigs both accurate and outlandish about your personality, your compatibility, your favorite things, your libido, and much more!

The best country radio station in the Bay Area!

As certain visitors can attest (y'all know who you are!) I play Magic: The Gathering, an addictive fantasy/trading card game.
This link goes to Wizards of the Coast, the company that makes the game. And here's a great deck-building site.

As one of those rare San Jose natives, I thought I'd include the official website of my hometown.

Do you like word games, especially making anagrams? How about playing them LIVE on the Net? You have to try Funster!

You don't have to be good at accents and dialects if you go to this site. It does the work for you. Type (or copy-and-paste) any words or sentences you like, and it will convert them to Redneck, Cockney, Jive, Elmer Fudd, Swedish Chef, Moron or Pig Latin. Hilarious!

My best friend says this resembles a narrow-faced man wearing a cowboy hat inside an egg. However, it actually is the Toyota logo, which
happens to grace the grille of my car, a 1995 metallic periwinkle Corolla named Flora. (Yes, I like Toyota!)
